Rory had just left the diner and told her mom that she was heading home, Jess had come back into the diner grabbed his coat and said "Luke, I'm going for a walk I'll be back later" with that he walked out the diner slamming the door.
 

"I wonder what that was all about" said Lorelai taking a sip of her coffee. To her surprise Luke didn't answer, in fact when she looked up he wasn't even in the same room, Lorelai listened carefully and heard that he had headed up stairs. After finishing her coffe she went after him calling his name, "Lukas, where are you LUKAS!!!"
 

Luke appeared right behind her scaring half to death, "Lorelai, there's no need to yell."
 

She glared at him and walked into his apartment, "Why do you always have to sneak up on me? You almost scared to death"

Luke gave her a quit smile than said, "Lor I can I talk to you for a sec?"
 

Lorelai stared at him ' he's never called me Lor before' she thought. "Ah sure" she answered. She sat down on Luke's bed and stared up at him.

"Okay, I've been thinking about this since you left after we had dinner, and well I just want you to know that it meant a lot to me that you still came here for dinner"
 

Lorelai looked at him confused "ah okay, Luke is that what you really wanted to talk to me about?" Quickly
 

Luke shook his head and answered "No"."What I really wanted to talk to you about was that I think I'm in love with you.
