..It's becoming more and more obvious as season 3 goes on that the timing is perfect to get Luke and Lorelai together. With Christopher and Max both gone for good, Sookie enjoying married life and Lorelai having to deal with Rory leaving and her being all alone for the first time, I have a feeling this season they'll finally hook up. ~Samantha

..I think, or at least hope, that Jess and Rory will develop a stronger relationship. They would make such a cute couple. They have so much in common, with the whole reading thing. But of course, Dean would get in the way. Rory has been dating Dean for a long time now. I think it is time she explored her options. After all, there are other boys in the world besides Dean, Jess for example. Plus the fact that Jess is a complete hottie helps a whole lot!!! ~Taylor

.. I think that in Season Three Luke and Lorelai are either going to get together or a lot closer then they are right now. I think that Luke is holding out on Lorelai because he wants more then he has and this might be his opportunity to get it. With Christopher out of the picture (which is a shame because he's hot :) ) she really has no one else. ..I think you'll find that somewhere there's a rule that means couples always get closer during the third season. I'm hanging so much hope on this being the truth. I love that Luke's pulling away- it's just going to show her how much he means to her, which is good because she shamelessly takes him for granted. I can see how Luke would really want to change the status quo and this fight is his big chance. Besides next season has great potential when it comes to this storyline-fighting couples always make for great TV. Convenient for Lorelai or not their relationship will definitely have to change and I'm excited to see everyone else adjust (or not) when it does. (funny visions of Kirk video taping their first 'real' date, hehehe.) Next season will be well worth the wait if they (TPTB) can make the next season about Luke changing their relationship, especially, because it seems that he'll have convince her that their romance is a really, really good idea:) Anyway I'm not worried, just impatient b/c I trust Mrs Palladino completely she's a marvel. ~Lisette

..I think L&L will get closer together, while Jess and Rory will, too. Let's just say L&L happen to get married in the future; what will happen to Rory and Jess? They will be related. I wonder I the writers will resolve that. I hope Rory doesn't go to Dean. I'm sorry, but I like Jess better. I think season 3 will bring an end to L&L's conflict in some kind of wierd and funny way. ..I think that something big is gonna happen with the Gilmores. Not sure what, but something that will change a lot of things. And of course I think Luke and Lorelai will get together, they HAVE to, it's been hinted at since the very beginning of the series! ~Krista

..Well, well... where to start?! Firstly, I truly believe that Luke and Lorelai should be together; but it always seems that some external force comes between them and pushes them apart. I think that Christopher will come back to be with Lorelai because Sherry will either find someone else who better matches her personality or she will miscarry. Thus he will no longer be obliged to stand by her during her pregnancy. So, Luke and Lorelai may not get together at first, or at all this season, but I'm sure that eventually they'll end up as a couple. Also, Rory will break up with Dean soon after the season's third premiere. It's the only natural thing for her to do since she's been getting bored with what Dean has to offer her. She'll end up with Jess, whom she's already partially in love with; the boy who can offer her what she really deserves. Jess treats Rory with a respect that Dean has seem to have forgotten. Plus, they have many more things in common, so they are without a doubt a better match. Hopefully, Lane will find herself someone to call her own, maybe the new boy at school or Henry, her old flame. So there you have it, my predictions for season three. If any of these ideas actually do come true, it promises to be a very interesting new season!!! ~GilmoreGal

..I think for the first part of season 3, Luke and Lorelai will still be very distant, but eventually they'll become good friends again. But I think that's all that will happen - this season at least. Usually big things like that happen at the end of a season - a 'will they/won't they' type cliffhanger. And I kind of hope they DON'T get together because that could mean the end of the series - usually when the URST (unresolved sexual tension) is resolved, the series becomes less popular because there's really nothing holding in the audience. I HOPE they do get together, and I hope their relationship stays just as feisty, but I don't really want them to get together if it means the end of Gilmore Girls. Also, although it's likely Rory will break up with Dean, I kinda don't want her to because it would probably mean the end of Jared's run on GG, which would be sad... ~Tam

 ..Season 3? I think that season 3 will not be much different from the previous two seasons. Amy Sherman-Palladino knows her story telling, and as such, won't tip the L/L hand. Luke and Lorelai are the kind of couple that would be insanely happy and stable if they ever got it together. They're friends first, and they've dealt with a lot of crap from each other, both on show, and implied. I have the sinking suspicion that theirs is the romance that will end the show. Unfortunately, we rabid fans, who are rooting them on, are just going to have to wait until then. But as for season 3? I think it's gonna have more Lane, more Rory- based stuff, and some serious gratuitous Jess. ~A.J.
