Luke goes
out on a date.. how does Lorelai handle it? |
|
Lorelai walked down the
street heading for Luke's. The day has been pretty tiring and all she wanted
to do was relax at Luke's with a cup of coffee. She pushed the door open and
stopped in her tracks. Eva(Ava?) was inside talking to Luke. *What's Eva
doing here? Oh, no. She can't be? Asking Luke out? Nah!*
Lorelai walked slowly toward the counter and cleared her throat when she
reached them. They turned to look at her and Eva smiled. "Lorelai, hello.
Funny seeing you here."
Lorelai forced a smile. "Huh, I was about to say the same thing." She sat
down on a stool and glanced at Luke. "Um, am I interrupting something?"
Luke shook his head. "No...uh, we're done."
Eva stood up. "Yes, I was just leaving. So, Luke, I'll see you in a few
days."
Luke nodded. "Right. Bye."
"Bye. Bye Lorelai." Eva picked up her purse and walked out of the diner.
Luke held up the coffee pot. "Coffee?"
"Yeah. Uh, in a few days?" Lorelai asked.
Luke had started to pour the coffee, but he stopped. "What? You don't want
it for a few days?"
"No, I mean - she said she'll see you in a few days. Why'd she say that?"
Lorelai asked.
Luke finished pouring her coffee. "Oh, we're gonna...you know, go out."
"Oh." Lorelai glanced down at her fingernails and pretended not to care.
"That's...nice."
"Well..." Lorelai figited in her seat.
"Um, can I have that coffee to go? I really should be getting home."
Luke poured the coffee into a to-go cup. "Oh, ok..um, here you go."
Lorelai took the cup and turned towards the door. She turned and looked at
Luke before leaving. *Why is this bothering me? Luke and I are just friends.
I don't care if he goes out on a date. I must be more tired than I thought.*
Luke smiled to himself as Lorelai left the diner, obviously jealous. It's
about damn time, he thought. Watching Lorelai go from one date to the next
had made him go crazy... maybe going on a date with Eva would be the thing
to bring Lorelai to her realization. He smirked slightly, remembering the
last time she'd thought he'd been asking Eva out. Go ahead, marry her. Make
her Mrs. Backwards Baseball Cap. See if I care.
A few days later, Lorelai walked into the diner for her usual morning cup of
coffee before heading to the inn. She sat at the counter and waited for Luke
to come. He came from the storage room and nodded at her.
"Coffee?" he asked.
"Yeah, thanks," she replied. She bit her lip and glanced at Luke. He noticed
her looking at him and laughed slightly.
"What?" he asked. "Something on my face?"
"No," she responded. "Um, I..."
"You..."
"I was just wondering....your date with Eva's tonight, right?"
"Uh huh."
"So, um, what do you guys have planned?"
"Oh, well, nothing really, I guess. Probably just a movie and dinner, you
know."
"Right, right." Lorelai tapped her fingernails on the countertop. Luke eyed
her suspiciously and tucked his order pad into his front waistband.
'God, I love it when he does that,' Lorelai smiled to herself. 'Stop! Why am
I thinking this? Think unsexy thoughts, think unsexy thoughts. Ahh, Taylor
in a thong!' She shivered at the thought.
"Refill?" Luke asked, breaking her out of her trance.
"Um, no thanks, I've gotta head to the inn. Make sure Sookie doesn't catch
herself on fire," she laughed.
"Heh, yeah." Lorelai gathered her bag and coat and left the money on the
counter. She began walking, and stopped, contemplating saying something to
Luke. She decided not to, and walked out of the diner.
Lorelai paced back and forth in her bedroom. This 'Luke dating' thing was
bugging her more than it should. 'He's just a friend. I don't care if he
dates. He's just a friend. Gah! There has to be something for me to do
tonight to get my mind off of this!' Lorelai covered her ears as her mind
was screaming.
***
Over at Luke's apartment, Luke was getting ready for his date. 'God this
feels weird. Though the look on Lorelai's face was fun. Could she actually
be jealous? Nah, probably just my overactive imagination.'
Luke walked down to the diner and saw Eva sitting at the counter waiting.
Eva looked a bit out of place in beige slacks. "You weren't waiting long?"
Eva looked up and smiled, "Oh, no. I just got here"
An uncomfortable silence filled the room. Luke cleared his throat, "Um, we
should get going. The movie starts in about fifteen minutes."
Eva smiled and followed Luke out of the diner.
***************
Back at Lorelai's house, Lorelai was still pacing her room. 'Something.
Something..I need to do something to get my mind off this! The movies! What
better way to get my mind off this Luke dating thing than losing myself into
a movie!'
Lorelai quickly changed into a pair of jeans and a tank top. She grabbed her
purse and left the house. Five minutes later she was standing in line at the
movie theater.
Lorelai sat down in the back of the room and ate her popcorn slowly,
watching Miss Patty and Taylor argue about something. Just then, Luke and
Eva walked in and seated themselves some rows in front of her. "Ugh," she
thought, "I knew my extremely short-term memory would prove to be a problem
one day."
As the lights darkened and the movie started, Lorelai briefly considered
bolting out the door. But a part of her was very curious about this date.
****************
Luke groaned silently. He and Eva had barely said anything to each other
since he found her sitting at the diner, and usually this was not how great
dates started out. He looked at his watch. It was 5:30. How was he expected
to spend 4 more hours with this woman? "Where do you want to go for dinner?"
Luke whispered. "I don't know, maybe some place in Hartford?" Eva replied
with a smile. "Sounds good," Luke said.
****************
Lorelai sat up straight in her chair. Luke had just said something to Eva.
She looked around, saw that everyone was watching the movie, and got out of
her seat. She crept up the aisle towards the couple and sat closer behind
them.
Lorelai, seated an isle away from the couple, settled in to watch the movie.
She tried to concentrate on the trailers showing on the screen, but kept
looking at the couple.
**********
Luke shifted in his seat, his throat feeling dry. "Hey, you want something
to drink?" Eva looked at him, "sure, a coke please"
Luke stood up and started walking towards the concession stand. He stopped
when he saw Lorelai sitting near the back watching the screen.
Not wanting to cause a big fuss, Luke shook his head and kept on walking
towards the food. When he returned with Eva's drink and some popcorn, he saw
Lorelai had moved closer to Eva. This was too much. "What the hell are you
doing?" he hissed.
"Trying to watch the movie," Lorelai replied. "You should too. The reviews
are pretty good."
"Lorelai, you were over there when I left to go get food," Luke said, "and
now you're over here."
"Well, Morey sat in front of me and he's really tall and I couldn't see,"
she explained.
"But there's a whole theater of empty seats; could you please just sit
somewhere else?"
Eva turned around. "Oh hi Lorelai!" she said excitedly. "Are you enjoying
the movie?"
"Hey Eva," Lorelai replied weakly. Luke started to say something but saw
Taylor walking towards them with a very cross look on his face.
"Would you two keep it down? There are some of us here who would actually
like to see what we paid for."
"The movie hasn't even started yet," Lorelai pointed out. She looked over
when she heard Eva calling her name.
"Are you here alone?" Eva asked.
"Well, no. I have popcorn."
"Don't be ridiculous. You can come sit with us. Right, Luke?" Eva smiled a
sappy smile.
Luke looked uncomfortably back and forth from the two of them as Lorelai
followed Eva's motion to sit near them. Luke sighed uncomfortably as he took
his seat.
Lorelai settled back smugly with her popcorn as the movie started. At least
she could keep tabs on what was going on, and she was pretty sure Luke
wouldn't put the moves on Eva while she was sitting right there, because it
would give her something to tease him about. She glanced over as Eva brushed
his hand. It looked like Luke wasn't the one putting the moves out there.
Luke shifted uncomfortably and moved his hand away from Eva. He didn't want
to do this in front of Lorelai, it was making him feel extremely awkward. He
saw Lorelai grinning at him and rolled his eyes. He turned and faced the
movie screen and took a handful of popcorn. He felt Eva's hand on his thigh,
and he looked at her to find her licking her lips seductively.
"Um," he began.
"Oh, Luke, you have such muscular thighs! Hmm, they must be very strong..."
she trailed off.
Lorelai stifled her laughter and Luke glared at her warningly.
Once the movie ended, Eva linked her arm in Luke's.
"So, what restaurant do you want to go to?" she questioned.
"I'm not sure. I don't really know of any nice ones in Hartford."
"Oh, I do," piped in Lorelai.
Luke sighed. "Well, what are a couple nice ones?" he asked.
"Um, well...I don't really remember...."
"Lorelai, you just said-"
"Luke, it's ok," reassured Eva. "Let's just go to your apartment," she
smiled mischieviously.
Lorelai sucked in a breath and bit her lip. There was no way Luke would take
Eva to his apartment.
Luke hesitated, but then smiled. "Sure, that's fine," he agreed.
Lorelai's jaw almost dropped. What? He wasn't supposed to say that!
Eva hugged Lorelai. "I guess I'll see you some other time, Lorelai."
"I hope to God not," Lorelai muttered.
"What was that?"
"Oh, nothing."
Luke took Eva's hand and they began walking out of the theater.
"Bye!" Lorelai called.
Luke followed Eva into the diner. He looked back down at Lorelai's
retreating figure before he entered the diner. 'What does Lorelai want?'
"Luke?"
Luke turned and saw Eva staring at him. 'Oh, boy. What have I gotten myself
into?' He wasn't interested in Eva in a romantic way, but he knows that Eva
wants something out of him.
"You want something to eat?"
Eva looked at him seductively, "sure"
*************
Lorelai walked home in daze. 'How can Luke invite her up to his apartment?
Ok, so he has the right too. But Eva? He's not even interested in her in
that way. Is he? No, he can't be. He's just being nice. But he wouldn't...'
The thought of Luke having sex with Eva was making Lorelai sick. Lorelai sat
down on her front porch, not wanting to go inside yet.
*************
After he and Eva ate dinner, they now were sitting up in his apartment. Eva
talked away while Luke's mind wandered. 'Why did I invite her up here? Now
she thinks I want more than just friends.' Eva, suddenly sitting next to
him, snapped him out of his daydream. She looked up at him expectantly. Not
knowing why, he leaned in and kissed her. Luke closed his eyes trying to
lose himself, but instead he pictured Lorelai as she was coming out of the
theater earlier that night. The look of surprise and dissappointment in her
eyes when he invited Eva to his apartment. His eyes snapped open. 'Thinking
of Lorelai while making out with another woman can't be good,' he thought.
"It's getting late," he said, backing away from her. He couldn't do this,
not even to make Lorelai jealous. It was crazy to feel like he was betraying
Lorelai when they weren't- and who knew if they ever would be- together, but
he couldn't help feeling that way.
"Mmhm..." Eva leaned back in, taking his comment to mean that they should
step it up a little.
"I think you should go," Luke said. He didn't want to start anything he
wasn't going to finish, and he definitely didn't plan on finishing this.
She looked at him in disappointment. "What? Why?"
"I made a mistake in asking you here, Eva. I'm sorry if I lead you to think
otherwise, but I'm not looking to pursue a relationship."
"Neither am I." She had an expression her face that Luke couldn't read, but
then again he wasn't too good at that kind of thing.
"I'm not looking to, ah, pursue... sex either." Luke was turning red as he
finished the last sentence. This was definitely a very bad idea.
After watching and rewinding Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and
putting up the junk food, Lorelai sat at the table trying to decide what to
do. She'd have to get used to this whole rewinding thing- Rory always
re-wound the tapes, but she didn't want Kirk giving another lecture about
customer courtesy and rewinding the tapes for the next person. Even the
oompaloompas didn't give her the comforting feeling they usually did. She'd
call Sookie, but she was probably busy with Jackson. Lorelai couldn't seem
to get her mind off of what Luke and Eva might be doing in his apartment.
Above the diner, where she ate her food every day. The thought was making
her sick. She almost laughed out loud. She was acting as if she liked Luke
or something, for heaven's sake. But it was just that Eva was so wrong for
Luke. Completely wrong. And friends don't let their very good friends make
mistakes with the wrong people, do they?
Lorelai grabbed her purse and headed out the door for a walk. Her first
instinct was to head towards Luke's, and she decided to follow it. I'll just
casually walk down the street and see if I can see anything through the
window. It's not spying-- can I help it if I'm walking and I just happen to
look up and I just happen to see?
As Lorelai approached the diner, she saw Eva coming out of it. And over to
her. Lorelai hoped she wasn't going to share any details. "Uh, hi Eva.
Imagine meeting you here."
"You said he was available!" Eva stood in the street in front of Lorelai,
hands on hips.
"What, Luke?" Lorelai gave a small laugh. "Luke's as available as bread. You
know, always in stock, on the shelf."
"He's seeing someone else," Eva declared.
"What? Are you sure? I mean, did he specifically say he was seeing someone
else? Maybe you misunderstood."
"He said he didn't want to pursue sex and that there was someone else."
"Oh. Well uh... I guess it wasn't a misunderstanding then." Lorelai's
thoughts were a mixture of thinking ways to torture Luke about having used
the phrase "pursue sex", and crazy confusion that wondered what he had been
talking about.
"Next time you refer me to your friends, Lorelai, it would be nice if you'd
get your information straight." Eva turned and walked the little ways to
where her car was parked, and drove away.
Lorelai sat down on the diner steps in a daze. Someone else? Who else is
there? After running everyone she could think of through her head, she came
up with two options. One, he was only saying that as an excuse to get Eva
out of his apartment. Two, he's still in love with Rachel. If there really
was someone else, it would have to be Rachel. Luke hadn't been with anyone
else, she was sure of that. Maybe that was because he still had feelings for
Rachel. It made sense. And he'd been going out with Eva to try and overcome
what he'd felt for Rachel, only being with Eva brought back memories of her,
so he asked to her leave. That had to be it. Feeling better about having
figured it all out, Lorelai stood up to go in the diner. Which was closed,
but it didn't make any difference because she always went in when it was
closed.
Luke stood by his apartment door, surprised at what he did. He didn't want
to hurt Eva, but he couldn't have sex with her when he wasn't attracted to
her. Still dazed, he made his way down to the diner. Walking down the
stairs, he heard a knock at the door. 'Oh, god. Please let it not be Eva. I
don't think I can handle any more drama tonight.'
He walked into the diner and saw Lorelai standing at the door. He smiled and
opened the door for her, 'What is she doing here? Does she know what
happened with Eva?'
"Hey Luke," Lorelai said with a
small smile.
"Hey," he replied. "Um, you want some coffee?"
"Always." she said. The diner was quiet except for the noise of the
coffeemaker warming up.
"So I heard what happened with Eva," Lorelai began cautiously, "Are you
okay?"
"I'm fine," Luke said. "I don't feel anything for her. I just didn't want to
hurt her."
"Oh, I don't think you have to worry about that. She got mad at me instead."
She smiled.
"Oh. That's um, good. Sort of. In the best possible way. Here's your
coffee."
Lorelai was jumbled up inside. Thoughts kept running through her head.
Somehow, Luke's love life was all she could think about. *Luke and Eva. No
more Luke and Eva. Rachel is gone. Luke likes Rachel. Luke is still in love
with Rachel. This is not good.* The worst part was, Lorelai couldn't figure
out for the life of her why she was having these thoughts.
***************
Luke looked nervously at Lorelai, who was sipping her coffee with a glaze in
her eyes. *What is she thinking about? Does she know that she's the 'someone
else' I told Eva about? Why isn't she saying anything?* Suddenly Lorelai
looked up at Luke and asked, "Have you ever had one of those days where
you're all confused and you can't figure out what you're feeling or why and
you're just...stuck?"
"Yeah," Luke said. "Do you want to talk about something?"
Lorelai smiled and shook her
head softly.
"It's just...I mean, I feel this certain way about something that I don't
understand why I feel this way about it. I shouldn't feel the way I'm
feeling, because, well, it's just not....I don't know what I'm saying. I'm
just really confused, and I don't know what to feel or what to think or if
what I'm thinking and feeling is even what I want to feel and think." She
glanced at a bewildered Luke and laughed. "Did I just completely confuse
you? Sorry."
He shook his head and broke out of the trace he was in.
"What? No, no, it's fine. I completely get what you're saying. I feel that
way too sometimes. I feel things I shouldn't be feeling or don't want to
feel."
"Yeah, and then you don't know what to do about those feelings. Like, you're
not sure if you should-"
"Act on them," they both said simultaneously.
They looked at each other and laughed.
"Guess we're both on the same boat," Lorelai said.
Luke let out a deep breath. "Guess so."
"So, Luke?"
"Hmm?"
"What is it that you're feeling that you're not sure about?" she asked,
staring into his warm eyes.
"I...it's nothing," he replied.
"Luke, come on, you can tell me. We're friends, aren't we?" She smiled and
placed her hand on his, feeling a tingle shoot up her spine. Luke glanced at
her hand on his before replying.
"Yeah, friends."
"Well, then tell me."
"Geez, you're annoyingly determined to find out, aren't you?" he half
smiled.
"I can be a pest when I want to be," she responded, grinning.
"No, you're just always a pest. Those annoying little pests that you can't
get rid of, no matter how much you spray them with that stuff."
"Oh, ew, those are gross."
Luke rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, distracting me isn't gonna help you, buddy," Lorelai said, poking
him. "Dish."
"Don't poke me."
"Say Gumby," Lorelai commanded.
Luke gave her an odd look. "Gumby."
"Pokey!" she giggled, poking him.
"That is so juvenile," Luke rolled his eyes, but then cracked a smile.
"Luke," whined Lorelai, "you gonna tell me or not? Pwetty pwease? Don't make
me get down on my knees."
Luke smirked as he thought of what Lorelai could do while down on her knees.
He snapped out of it when Lorelai poked him again.
"Geez, ok, I'll tell you, god."
Lorelai's face brightened and she bounced excitedly on her chair. "Go
ahead."
Lorelai kept bouncing in her
seat waiting for Luke to tell her.
"Well?" Lorelai was getting impatient and excited. 'Why am I getting excited
about this?'
Luke just looked at her. 'Should I?'
"You're too eager." he said, laughing at her bouncing.
"You're doing this on purpose..what are you feeling now?"
Luke just kept staring at her, "What are you feeling right now?"
"Ohhh, you are not seriously trying to turn this around." Lorelai was
starting to get nervous.
"Maybe"
"Is it Rachel?" Lorelai blurted out. 'Oh, god. Did I just say that?
"I..I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say that..I..I just.." Lorelai stuttered,
'Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Just stop talking!' But her mouth had a mind of
it's own at the moment.
"I mean, Eva said there was someone else and I just assumed you aren't over
Rachel. I know she meant a lot to you and you were hurt when she left. I fee
guilty pushing you on Rachel before and then Eva. Well, I didn't really push
Eva on you. I just told her you were single and she took the initiative..but
I never meant to hurt you. I just want you to be happy. But then when I saw
Eva outside and she said you didn't want to do anything with her. Which, by
the way, I'm going to give so much crap for using the words, 'pursue sex'.
But that's for another time. When she told me that..I don't know. I felt bad
for setting you up..well, not really setting you up. But I did tell her you
were single. But I don't really feel bad for her. Not that I feel sorry for
you, well, not in that way. I just wanted to see you happy, but now that
you're unhappy..."
Luke was starting to feel dizzy listening to Lorelai ramble on. 'She really
doesn't know.' It was cute seeing her nervous and fidgeting. He really
didn't know what to think of it. Though he felt he needed to shut her up
before she ran out of air.
He looked at her for a second. 'Damn, she's beautiful. Even when she's
rambling like an idiot.'
He doesn't know what came over him. He leaned in to kiss her.
'Whaaat..' Lorelai was felt like she couldn't breath. She started to put her
arms around him and kiss him back. Instead Luke pulled back, got up from the
stool and walked out of the diner to his apartment.
Speechless, Lorelai just watched him retreat to his apartment. 'What was
that?' She wanted to scream at him to come back. Finally, she got up and ran
after him.
She reached the door to his apartment and was about to knock, but saw that
it was open. She slowly opened it wide enough for her to walk in, and saw
Luke sitting on the couch, his head in his hands. She raised an eyebrow and
walked over to him.
"Luke," she said.
His head immediately shot up. "Lorelai, why are you-"
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" she interrupted. "I'm in the
middle of talking, and you interrupt me by kissing me, and it wasn't just a
polite little kiss. That was a hell of a passionate kiss, mister. You can't
just kiss me...like that, and then run up to your apartment like a little
chicken."
Luke was half smiling now, as he watched Lorelai take a few breaths, her
fists clenched.
"Look, Lorelai, I don't know what came over me. I just...I'm sorry, ok? I
shouldn't have kissed you, and for that, I'm sorry."
Lorelai's mouth dropped open in surprise. "Are you seriously sitting there
telling me you're sorry you kissed me? Acting like it was no big deal? I
don't mind that you kissed me, I mean, who would, speaking of which I don't
think you should tell Patty you can kiss like that...The point is, that I
would like to know why you suddenly kissed me. And don't give me any phony
excuses." Lorelai crossed her arms and looked at him intently.
"It's not Rachel," he replied.
"What?"
"It's not Rachel," Luke repeated. "I'm not in love with her."
"So you were just saying you loved someone else to get Eva out of your
apartment?" Lorelai inquired.
"Well, no."
Lorelai stared at him quizzically. "There's someone else? Who else could
there possibly be? It's not Rachel, it's not Eva, thank god, it's not anyone
else in this town. Is there someone you haven't told me about or something?
Some girl you went to high school with? Because that would make sense,
because you haven't told me about-"
"It's you," he stated simply.
Lorelai stopped talking. "What?"
Luke took a deep breath and looked into Lorelai's cool blue eyes before
telling her what he was too afraid to tell her all this time.
"I'm in love with you."
"Ok, Luke, this isn't funny. It's not April Fools," she laughed nervously.
"I'm serious, Lorelai."
Lorelai stepped back and bumped into his guitar, knocking it to the floor.
"You...I...what...how..."
Lorelai looked over at him, "You're serious. I..I need to sit down.
I..you have a guitar?"
"Yeah"
"You can play?" Lorelai was surprised on how little she knew of Luke.
"Yeah, I can play. Lorelai? Say something" Her reaction was starting to
freak him out.
"Wow. I.." Lorelai wanted to do something. Anything. She looked at him.
'Luke likes me? Loves me? Do I feel the same way? God, I loved the way he
kissed me. I want that again.'
"Lorelai?" Luke sat still waiting for her to say something. Lorelai sat
next to him and put her hand on his thigh. He stiffened up a bit at her
touch. She slowly faced him, brought her hands to his shoulders and pressed
hard on his mouth.
For a second, Luke couldn't move. He loved the feel of her lips on his.
He brought his arms up and pulled her closer to him. Lorelai suddenly pulled
away and stood up.
"Lorelai is..?"
Lorelai walked across the room and shut the apartment door and locked it.
She turned around and gave him a smile. Luke watched her walk towards him
and sit on his lap. She leaned towards his ear and whispered, "I love you
too." She kissed him again, this time harder.
Luke groaned. His hands tugged at the bottom of her tank top and up
underneath. He felt himself grow more aroused as he played with the clasp of
her bra.
"Yes Luke" Lorelai said. Her voice was breathless. She unbuttoned his
shirt and trailed kisses down his neck to his chest. He unhooked her bra and
brought her shirt up over her head. He slowly slid the bra straps down her
arm.
Lorelai stood up and dragged Luke over to his bed. She ran her hands over
his chest, sucking on his neck. Tugging at his belt buckles, she undid his
pants and pulled them down. Luke moaned as she started massaging him. He
brought her down onto the bed and sucked on her breasts. Trailing kisses
lower onto her stomach, he pulled her pants off. Lorelai gasped and moved
her hips towards him as he lifted up her underwear and trailed kisses even
lower down her body.
He continued
to kiss below her navel as he slid her underwear off. Lorelai felt his
tongue run along her slit and moaned in pleasure. He sucked harder,
moving his tongue in and out quickly. Not being able to control
herself, she grabbed Luke's pillow and covered her face, screaming into it.
Luke brought his face up and sucked on her stomach, up to her breast, to her
neck, to her lips. She kissed him back hard, surprising even herself
on the intensity of her kiss. She wanted him.
"Please Luke. Please"
Lorelai breathed. She held him and guided him inside of her. He
pushed down against her gently, slowly. He felt her wetness and
started pumping faster. Lorelai never felt such pleasure in her life.
She arched her back and thrusted her hips towards him. He cupped her
breast in his hand and sucked hard. Circling his tongue around the
nipple. They were both sweating now. Lorelai screamed. She
was trying hard to keep quiet, but there was no use. Her nails
scrapped down his back. She grabbed him and pushed him harder inside
of her. The bed was rocking and hitting the wall. Her
screams made Luke push harder. Groaning as his excitement was starting
to build.
As her screams got louder, he
came inside her. Luke relaxed on top of her, breathing heavy. He
sucked on her neck, trailing kisses to her lips. Lorelai, dizzy and
out of breath, kissed him back with more force. She kept rocking
underneath him, making him loose his breath.
After a few moments, Luke
rolled over. Lorelai cuddled against him. Their breathing was
fast and heavy. Lorelai ran her fingers over his muscled chest.
They both laid in bed in silence, holding each other.
"I love you Lorelai" Luke
said, sleepily.
"I love you Luke"
whispered Lorelai. But Luke didn't hear her. Lorelai looked up
at him sleeping and smiled. 'I think I wore him out', laughing to
herself. She grabbed the covers that were practically thrown off the
bed and covered them both up. She cuddled against him and fell asleep.
